How can I convert speed units from kilometers per hour to miles per hour?
You can change the speed units on Qvia/Lukas Viewer.
I lost Wi-Fi passwords.
Please insert your SD card into your PC, and run Qvia/Lukas Viewer. Click on the Setting icon, then go to 'Additional' tap where you can change Wi-Fi passwords. Make sure you save the
settings before you insert your SD card back into your dash camera.
I want to disable security LEDs for security reasons.
You can disable the option on Qvia/Lukas Viewer. Or, if your dash camera is Wi-Fi enabled, you can also turn it off on Qvia/Lukas application.
What are the differences between a UV filter and a CPL filter?
A UV filter protects the lens from UV rays.
A CPL filter eliminates diffuse reflections, thus improving image quality. (The footage may look darker at night or if the windshield is tinted)
Do I have to have a CPL filter on my dash camera?
A CPL filter is good for cutting out back light and diffuse reflections, thus improving image quality during day time. However, it is not recommended during nighttime or if the windshield
is tinted.
My car is an SUV and the rear connection cable does not seem to be long enough to connect to the rear camera.
For some vehicles, the 5M connection cable included in the package may not be long enough to install the rear camera. Qvia/Lukas provides longer connection cables, 7M and 11M which can be purchased as an option.
How can I format the SD card?
A dash camera's SD card is consumable. However, SD cards can last longer if you format them on a regular basis.
If your dash camera is an LCD model, you can simply format it on the camera. Or, insert the SD card to your PC and format it on Qvia/Lukas Viewer.
I installed Qvia/Lukas Viewer for my dash camera, but I cannot play video footage.
Please check if the version of your viewer is the latest one that also matches the dash cam's firmware version. Both the viewer and firmware need to get updated to work properly.
